Terms of Use
These terms cover BeamShare on iOS and Android. By using the app you agree to them. On iOS, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
Your content
Everything you send or receive with BeamShare is yours. We claim no rights to it, and since it travels directly between your devices and never reaches us, we never have access to it. You are responsible for having the rights to the files you transfer, and for what you choose to send and to whom.
Transfers
- Transfers happen only between devices that can reach each other on a local network, and only after the receiving device accepts.
- Every file is integrity-verified on arrival. A transfer is either complete and verified, or still in progress — interrupted transfers can resume where they stopped.
- Transfer speed and reliability depend on your network conditions, which are outside our control.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not warrant it will be error-free, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost files, lost profits, or other indirect damages. Keep originals of important files until a transfer has completed.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
